GANGTOK: In a significant milestone for Sikkimese cinema, director Samten Bhutia’s latest work, “Tara: The Lost Star,” has been selected for market screening at the prestigious Cannes International Film Festival. The film, produced by Sabitri Chettri under the banners of SaDa Productions and Passang Mintok Films, stands as a testament to the growing recognition of regional filmmaking on the global stage.
